Getting to the Island:

You may take the North Ferry from Greenport or the South Ferry from Sag Harbor. They run continuously through the day and evening. Pay onboard with cash.

B U S o r T R A I N :

Take the Jitney or Long Island Railroad to Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island. You can then walk (about 3 minutes) to the North Ferry. Take the Ferry to Shelter Island. Walk 8 minutes to the hotel. Make sure to have a few crisp $1 bills for the Ferry tokens.
